Noise Free America is a national 501c3 organization opposed to noise pollution, with more than 50 local chapters in 27 states. Noise Free America conducts publicity campaigns, answers media inquiries, distributes radio public service announcements, recruits and advises local anti-noise activists, maintains an online discussion group, provides technical advice to noise victims, issues a quarterly newsletter, advises state and local officials on noise ordinances, and makes presentations to police departments. No organization has done more to raise public awareness of the harms of noise pollution.
